Kinefinity is making a push for supremacy in the Box Cinema Camera War. The company introduced its sub-flagship 6K cinema camera – the MAVO Edge 6K.

Equipped with a 6K full-frame 3:2 CMOS imaging sensor, the MAVO Edge 6K is shoots 6K 75fps and 4K 150fps. The camera includes dual native ISO (800/5120) and an internalized full-spectrum e-ND filter (0.6-2.4).
MAVO Edge 6K integrates industry-standard ports and dual SSD media slots, records Apple ProRes444/Xq and uncompressed RAW. The recording media is based on NVMe M.2 2280 SSD to ensure uncompressed RAW is stored stably and safely.
Following the standards of previous Kinefinity cine cameras, MAVO Edge 6K displays natural color, pleasing skin tones, low noise, high dynamic range and stunning details in footage.
And at just 3.6lbs, it’s a compact and lightweight solution for powerful performance and versatility that can adapt to the various demands of the shooting enviroment.
The MAVO Edge 6K is available now for pre-order with an estimated ship date of May 2022. You can choose between the Deep Gray model or the Cyber Edition. Price varies by model and pack option (Core or Pro).
