Panasonic Says GH6 Continues to Break Boundaries
The latest flagship model of the LUMIX Mirrorless Camera System is coming soon. Panasonic unveiled the details of the new GH6 during a live announcement Monday evening (February 21).
The photo/video hybrid system draws from user experiences and is designed for high quality video expression and workflow efficiency. It maintains and expands on many hallmark features of LUMIX systems with performance, mobility and a rugged design.
The GH6 is now available for pre-order. It starts shipping in late March 2022.
The main draw to the GH6 is the 25.2 megapixel Live MOS Sensor. It boasts high resolution, high speed signal readout and wide dynamic range. The GH6 includes a new Venus Engine that’s equipped with advanced image processing technologies to render high resolution images with natural noise texture and rich color reproduction.
The LUMIX GH6 also contains V-Log/V-Gamut – a first for LUMIX G Micro Four Thirds cameras. This provides 12+ stops of wide dynamic range (13+ stops in Dynamic Range Boost mode).
