Highly Anticipated LUMIX GH6 Coming February 22

The official release date for the new LUMIX GH6 is finally on the calendar. Panasonic confirms the highly anticipated mirrorless camera system will be revealed at 1 a.m. UTC (8 p.m. EST) on February 22, 2022.

The LUMIX GH6 is the flagship model of the LUMIX G Series. This lineup of digital mirrorless cameras is based on the Micro Four Thirds system standard. The GH line is well-regarded for its stunning mobility and innovative video performance.

Expected LUMIX GH6 Features

Development of the LUMIX GH6 was originally delayed due to a global shortage of key components and parts. However, we do have some information from Panasonic on what features to expect in the new camera.

During the May 2021 announcement, Panasonic emphasized that the GH6 would accommodate a wide variety of recording modes and shooting assist functions and enable photo/video hybrid-use for various purposes including films, music videos, documentaries and short clips for social media to meet the creator’s needs.
